1. Peptan® Hydrolyzed Amino Acids:
Collagen as a molecule, when ingested wholly, is too large to cross the stomach- blood barrier and enter the system. Thus came the age of hydrolysing collagen into its subparts which are amino acids and peptides. Through meticulous hydrolysis, collagen molecules are broken down into smaller, more absorbable peptides, ensuring maximum efficacy and bioavailability. Different chemical processes with different yields are used for hydrolysis of collagen, some of which are very inferior when it comes to composition, absorption and efficacy in the human body.
Hydrolyzed Collagen’s peptides contain three times higher amounts of proline, glycine and hydroxyproline amino acids. These three amino acids are critically essential for the synthesis of new collagen and they strengthen the stability of collagen’s structure in cartilages, joints and skin.
